Whose silver "DELL" sticker on back cover has come off?

About a week ago, part of it fell of leaving me with "DEL"

Today the rest decided to fall off. :)

I quite like the matt black "Stealth" look. I wish the camera wasn't so silver now :)

and by coincidence I've just picked it up to find the circle has gone as well

Holy s***, I didn't even know what could happen. I've got a massive Gmail sticker on my Dell logo, so I imagine all the silverness is going to come off when the sticker gets too tatty :)

Haha, exactly same order as you guys, first the ring fell off, then an L, and literally an hour ago the DEL went as well... I don't mind it.

I figure it's shitty glue + semi hard to open case = no more DELL logo...

I noticed this thread a couple of days ago and paid it no heed. Clearly it jinxed me. Now the top arm of the E has just come off. Damn!

My L fell off a long time ago. I managed to witness the demise of the ring, it looks as though the heat from my pocket superheated the glue and it came off. Can anyone make silver Ctrl + Alt stickers?

Anyone tried to find a suitable way to reattach these silver letters?

I dont know about you, but I like the reflective silvery letters hehe.

I dont think Superglue is good choice here. any other ideas?

Thing is, i use Clingo car mount which already took the last L in the first use :) I suspect the rest will be torn off today when I use GPS again :)

After the top arm of the E broke, I spotted that the circle was barely hanging on so I removed the whole thing. There is a fair amount of glue in the indents which came off with a glue removing solvent (white spirit in my case).

My initial disappointment that the as-new look was peeling has been replaced with much satisfaction at the all black stealth look.

In my opinion this is what it should have been in the first place.

Thinking about it, stuck on baco foil as a cosmetic finish is just a bit naff don’t you think?
