Guest Noonski Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 (edited) Hell yes, this is by far the snappiest ROM i`ve tried so far! And it comes with LP too, the best launcher out there! This is it, mye favourite ROM. Thx. to Noonski :P Again I have to stay modest. It's Pauls great and stable MCR Base, with Sub's Extra Governer add-onns, DSIXDA's Kitchen and Memory settings and Richard Trips new OVUC Kernel for Sense Roms. Okay maybe the extra crap I trew out helps a little bit. Edited October 21, 2010 by Noonski
Guest tobytones Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 Keep up the good work! Love this rom! :)
Guest bigthunderkid Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 (edited) Hi Noonski, Thanks so much for sharing your work with everyone here :) . I've got a quick question before I flash... 32.47.00.32U_5.10.05.23 Radio suggested. (myself I like 32.46.00.32U_5.10.05.17_2 better) I'm currently using 32.48.00.32U_5.11.05.14 radio - is there any disadvantage to using this one? My primary concern is battery life so are 32.47.xx or 32.46.xx better than 32.48.xx in this regard? cheers Pete p.s. thanks too for relieving me of some of my boredom....I flashed a Villain rom last week for something to do - but I much prefer using Modaco roms. These days I'm just hanging around the forums waiting for news of a fully functional HD rom to flash to my Desire :) . EDIT: typo Edited October 28, 2010 by bigthunderkid
Guest bpivk Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 This rom really looks great. But the first picture in post #24 looks better. Blue doesn't belong there when the whole phone is black and white.

EDIT: typo For me personally, where I work I have bad reception and the phone is continuously either looking for a connection or switching between G and 3G. On with the 5.11.05.14 radio, I find it is sucking more out of the battery then with the slightly older Radio. This rom really looks great. But the first picture in post #24 looks better. Blue doesn't belong there when the whole phone is black and white. I've had the Black/Very Dark one on for two weeks now and I find myself not so annoyed with not being able to see the battery line Cauge as I look at the percentage anyway. So I'm with you on this one. Edited October 29, 2010 by Noonski
Guest bigthunderkid Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 On with the 5.11.05.14 radio, I find it is sucking more out of the battery then with the slightly older Radio. Hi Noonski, thanks for the feedback. I'm in an area with pretty good phone reception so maybe it won't be such an issue for me. I'm going to flash now and leave 5.11.05.14 on the device - if it seems to be sucking up the battery juice I'll try the older radios. Will post a comment on my experience back here later for the information of others. cheers and thanks again! :)

Sometimes new radio's are leaked that might have been tweaked for a specific network or country. (at least it used to be this way sometimes)
Guest lolka23 Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 Hello! I've just find this thread and this ROM.Maybe this will be the one i've been looking for. Cant wait to try it. I will report it back. Thanks in advance.
Guest shokka9 Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 I am still using it; to be fair my Desire doesn't get much use.....but still, i have it with me today. The ROM is awesome, nice SLIM build, not had 1 issue at all with it. Enjoy bro!

Enjoy bro! Working on a slight update (and since it's Framework less it should flash over Brushed version just fine) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...p;postcount=275 Uploading a First Beta 2010-11-15.5 (Ignore the Brushed File Name it has no Framework anyway ) Backup before Flashing, it does say Beta. It's working fine for me but that's not enough confirm now is it. Only little Bug/missing is the unlock with menu key. http://www.mediafire.com/file/84rrv2...10-11-15.5.zip Edited November 15, 2010 by Noonski
Guest shokka9 Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Just downloading OTA from work on my Desire. Getting quite good d/l speeds considering i am in an office block!! Will backup, then flash when completed d/l. Will post an update, i assume all will work fine, i trust you Noonski
Guest shokka9 Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) Update.... Didnt work for me Noonski.....flashed straight over previous build (first verison of NSA). Nope. Wiped etc, then flashed, nope? So i will wait for a different release  God bless Restore  Do i need the previous UPD.zip?? Before this one will work? Anyways, i will download & try. Battery is at 19%, think i will wait till later, after work to flash my Desire  Thanks Edited November 16, 2010 by shokka9
Guest Noonski Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) I'm zeroing in on it  It's in the Brushed Framework, also found why it wipes APN's. More Flashing for me and all the time in the world. Comparing the two frameworks at least now helped me fix the Menu Unlock for regular NSA  Edited November 16, 2010 by Noonski
Guest shokka9 Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 On it bro, as you know i will have to do it all at home.... I feel like we are duplicating posts  here and at xda!! But hey, if it helps somebody else....... i don't mind being guinea pig. Thats what my phone is for, just wish i had more juice in it today tho. Wish i had all the time in the world too  Speak soon bro
Guest Noonski Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) Alrichtee, New UPDate here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/dubj9lnzd693...0-11-16.UPD.zip And i suggest checking out the free Wave Live Wallpaper Lite out from the market. It goes well with the rest. Don't mind the Colour, I didn't set my screen calibration settings yet. Edited November 16, 2010 by Noonski
Guest shokka9 Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 u done me good today bro.... flashed the framework, then the UPD, all good, now you have brushed metal..... should of waited for you  Good work as always bro, time to flash again
Guest Noonski Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) Your probably up to snuff then, no need to flash this one. I'm now testing the exchange-ability of using only one UPD version for both regular and Brushed N.S.A. Versions. So I can now concentrate on the Brushed Framework the coming weeks. It boots now after flashing the regular N.S.A. Update and you sort of confirmed that with your different upgrade path  Life is good here and no one will have noticed the download being replaced with fixed Wifi  Edited November 16, 2010 by Noonski
Guest shokka9 Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Well, here's a screenie of my end result. Used the live wallpaper recomended by Noonski, it has a very low battery consumption too
Guest Noonski Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Update: Here's the Brushed Framework with finished Lock Screen. http://www.mediafire.com/file/w7yttf...rk.Brushed.zip
Guest lolka23 Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 ...and i'm still wating for my new sd card.
Guest bpivk Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Noonski I have a few questions. Will you make a new version with all updates or do I have to install your ROM and then all updates? I like the first (silver) version not the new version because it reminds me of my old monitor that had a display like this right before it died. Is this just wallpaper effect or did you also skin the clock because everything seems yellow to me.

Nah the screenshot is yellow because I did not adjust the gamma of the screen before taking the screenshot. I think I wrote that :D Lemme sho ya. Or You can adjust the Gamma to your liking. I took the yellowish screenshot right after clean test flashes without adjusting my gamma first with "Cailbrate Settings" from CM. It's included in NSA. And for the Black Ops fans, there's even a Nightvision Mode  Edited November 17, 2010 by Noonski
Guest bpivk Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 That's nice to hear. I guess I missed it or maybe you've posted it on xda. I track just this topic. What about the updates? Will you make an up to date version? I'm asking because I'm thinking of installing a new rom but I'm in no rush.
Guest Noonski Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) Nope, no important Update coming. I'm pretty content (and others to) with the Rom. It's Stable, and Fluid. Newer Builds after 2.10 have not really brought any big improvements. I could wip up a FF version in a few days, but my time has run out for this (my midweek) weekend. Sorry... Edited November 17, 2010 by Noonski
Guest bpivk Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Ok. Then I'll flash this. I just wanted to make sure because I hate installing new roms and wish to do this once and for all. Thanks for the answer.
