A quick question: text message reminder possible?

First off - thank you everyone, especially Paul. I have changed from an old Nokia handset for 10 years to a San Francisco. Wow! I have a computer in my pocket.

After reading many messages on here I now have the handset unlocked, flashed to R3 and Tesco Mobile sim.

A quick question :

On my old Nokia handset it beeped gently after receiving a text and kept beeping intermittently until I read the text.

On the San Francisco I have message notification set for a message arriving but if I miss this I can then only tell that I have a message by turning the phone on and looking at the screen.

Is there a setup that replicate the old Nokia handset intermittent reminder?

Many thanks in advance.

Also there's a free app in the market called

Missed call (by anno)

can be set to repeat alerts for all types of missed calls / unread sms at various intervals.
