Guest Xess Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 I wonder if Orange will keep supporting the San Francisco ???...Or is it just another money making spinner ?...Would have been nice if they had some accessories to go with the phone in there shops....I know the Apple iPhone is a big earner for them, they have loads of accessories for that phone,lol...
Guest steve1221 Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 We all hope so !! They say their going to releasing a whole raft of Android phones, so you'd hope they have the will to support them and get the official upgrades out (not that we need them with Paul on the case !).
Guest ken218 Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 (edited) To be honest, I don't think this phone will be actively supported by orange... :) Edited October 13, 2010 by ken218
Guest Xess Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 To be honest, I don't think this phone will be actively supported by orange... :) Thats my feeling too...Hope iam wrong though,lol...Best cheap Android phone ive had in a long time...
Guest hillmie87 Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 To be honest, I don't think this phone will be actively supported by orange... :) Ditto. hopefully my feeling is wrong too. This phone is too awesome to not get any love from orange (although most people would just get it unlocked and use the sim from other provider. lol)
Guest lonegunman Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 If it gets picked up by another network things would look much better for support but i dont think it has as yet, also i am sure the san fran is going over to contract soon (why i have no idea) if it does that will help in people getting on the orange to get more support for the phone.
Guest steve1221 Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 (edited) To be honest, I don't think this phone will be actively supported by orange... :) As Orange (or Everything, Everywhere if you like), is closing call centres, 'letting staff go' and closing stores, you might be right. But if they then also stopping supporting their own phone as well they may as well just give up ! Edited October 13, 2010 by steve1221
Guest idroid84 Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 If theres alot of interest in it then I guess they will support it properly. Lets hope they do!
Guest Afrodude Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 Its there best selling PAYG phone, i think they will be inclined to support it.
Guest landroid Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Ok.... Very odd, just flashed my blade, everything's fine and dandy, all the horrible little orange icons have gone yay, but that disgusting vile start-up animation is still haunting the phone at switch on. aaagh. That's like one of the main reasons I wanted to flash the thing in the first place. What did I do wrong?
