Since dodonut the rotation animations are lost becausr the framework was not moved from cupcake.

Is there anyway to port these files to froyo or eclair? To get the anations back;)

I'd love to have animations as well, or at least just something to let you know it's rebuilding the activity, as that can sometimes take a while.

I'm hoping for 3.0 to reintroduce it, because as far as I know it's also meant to polish up the UI.

rotating animations...when you turn your phone the screen turns with the movement.

This is called rotation.

In cupcake you had an animation by doing o in newer versions not.

Oh, i get it. I guess they removed it to make things go faster. Although I must agree that if done smoothly, it does add to polish.

Galaxy tab has it, with froyo 2.2 so i think it is possible.

its possible you just need the files from cupcake and now how to implent them...
