How to install fastboot?

Hello mates!

I successfully flashed the official baltics 2.1 rom from lg site with KDZ.

2 hours after I got my phone actually. :)

So now i seek a way to install fastboot without flashing it again with the russian rom.

Is this possible and how?

You do know that you don't install fastboot?

You boot into it. (For the Pulse we hold volume down + red + power)

Then connect the USB.

How can i add fastboot to French 2.1 ROM, so that i can flash-it and have fastboot in my GT540?

if you need fastboot, you must re-flash your optimus with this rom link. because this rom already modify for fastboot (eclair + fastboot).

This rom modify by Russian.

After re-flash optimus with this rom, you must shut down your phone. when your phone is off, you must press Volume Up + Search Button and plug in USB Cable.

and if the phone screen is show "Fastboot Mode" you must have a Android SKD (Android Driver) for detect your phone in PC.

Could someone please explain me what's all the fuss about this fastboot mode?

If I got it right - it allows you to flash custom ROMs and stuff, but who is going to make custom ROMs in the first place?

I don't see many of those around just waiting to be flashed.

So why the eagerness to go for fast boot?
