Have you tried putting the phone by an analogue radio when you turn it on and see if you hear the usual mobile interference/morse code type noise!? Could there be a lookup table of network code that it'll attach to ? IIRC this rom originated from a pre-release Chinese Blade. 1/ Was there a confirmation that it was ever working (as a phone), even in China? 2/ And if it was, would knowing the network, or knowing anything anything that a (working in China) phone could report while operational, be helpful?
