Guest BK2FUT Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 I'm currently using an 8gb Micro SD from my previous phone, but am considering upgrading to a 16 or 32gb card. The reason I ask is when I went from a 4 to an 8 on my previous phone (non-Android basic Samsung) it was definitely sluggish and had issues with the larger card. Is anyone currently using a 16gb or 32gb card? If so, have you noticed any performance issues? This is particularly important now, as I'm hoping to get App2SD up and running when (or if) the 2.1 upgrade finally arrives for the GT540 in the UK. Thanks, OT.
Guest ASY9650 Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 (edited) I'm not sure to be honest, I use a 8GB myself too :) . I used to have things like that too on Samsungs, but my Tocco Lite never did that :) . And, I shouldn't think it would slow it down, my 8GB is packed with music and all sorts. Just remember, I think the highest recommended space for APPS2SD is 750Mb, which is loads anyway. The guide will tell you what allocations are suggested, if you ignore these you could run into problems. But if you were thinking of loading about 3-4gb of apps. Forget it :). Guest merlin617 Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 (edited) If you are changing get one that is class 4 or class 6 as video playback will run smoother with one of these: Transcend 8GB class 6 Edited October 24, 2010 by merlin617
