you can restore your settings manually in few minutes

First reboot the phone into fastboot mode. (Volume Down + Red)

Make a folder in C:\ called "Froyo". Copy the images and the fastboot-windows file (Here if you don't have it) into that folder.

Go to Start menu->Run and type: cmd (than enter or run)

Insert these commands line by line:

cd C:\Froyo\

fastboot-windows flash system system.img

fastboot-windows flash boot boot.img

fastboot-windows flash userdata userdata.img

fastboot-windows reboo

Why thank you for cutting out the end of my command. Or was that me? *Goes away to check*

Nope. Just a copy/paste fail. :)

i found this on 2.2 discussion.

make a nand backup

Download the CM6 0.20 and unzip it in an folder on your pc.

Download this and unzip it in the same folder. Attached File http://android.modaco.com/index.php?act=at...st&id=62492 (fastboot.zip) ( 264.31K ) Number of downloads: 14

Turn of your phone and go in to fastboot (turn on phone while holding red key and the vol DOWN).

Connect the phone with your usb cable to the pc.

Double click the froyo.bat file and wait for cmd to finish.

Then take out your battery, put it back in and turn on your phone. That's it!

would doing that work?

My way? Manually?

Open the bat file in a text editor and tell me what it says. If it is what I think it is, you can just drop the 3 CM6 images into the same folder, double click the bat (once in fastboot mode) and reboot.

OK, (sounds like mine actually), just drop the system and userdata images into the folder from Tom's CM6 0.20, and the boot image from the Discussion thread.

Boot into fastboot, double click the .bat, pull battery, done.

Or if you don't want to pull the battery, add "fastboot-windows.exe reboot" on a new line at the end.
