Guest idroid84 Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 (edited) Copy the ZIPs below to /sdcard and then 'Flash via Clockwork Recovery'. It will overwrite your Launcher2.apk file to give you the new app launcher. Launcher 001 - iDroid84_Launcher001_signed.zip Edited October 15, 2010 by idroid84

Guest tom619 Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 where exactly do i replace launcher2.epk?
Guest idroid84 Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 /system/apps on the phone, you could just push it via adb push or use android commander :)
Guest Ed- Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 I downloaded the file (iDroid84_Launcher2.apk) and placed it into my c: drive then I opened cmd and typed: cd \ adb remount adb push iDroid84_Launcher2.apk /system/app/Launcher2.apk adb reboot Job done, thanks.
Guest tom619 Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 i see, do i need to have anything in particular installed to use adb?.
Guest idroid84 Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 Thats when it gets hard...... You will have to download the Android google SDK pack and learn ADB push/pull commands.

Guest idroid84 Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 I have added an update.zip to be flashed via Clockwork Recovery.
Guest bennicholass Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Works perfect - no performance issues here running R3. Bootscreen also works like a dream. Thanks for this.
Guest mELIANTE Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 I had a live wallpaper running when it was sluggish. Put a normal one now and it got better. It was too much for little SanFran I suppose :)

Live Wallpapers work Fine on Launcher PRO!!! Havent tried on Froyo though - SHould be much better on it. I'm sure after we have a stable O/C Kernal it should be ultra Smooth.
