Got my new San Francisco today and have unlocked it successfully. Have installed my TMobile sim that has unlimited web access and cannot get data connection. Phone and sms all working perfectly as is wireless connectivity. Can anyone help? Have called TMobile but all I get is "Phone not registered with us so can't help".

Any help would be much appreciated.

Go there if you have it on contract T-Mobile.

Thanks for quick response. Does anyone know how to enter this information on the Blade? On mobile network settings I can select T Mobile under 'Network operators' but I still get "Connection failed" under 'Data Connection'. When I open 'Access Point Names' I am presented with the message "No notifications" and no means of entering any data.

Any help really would be appreciated as I love this phone which is my first Android device.

After you open "Access Point Names" press the menu button and select "Add APN". The T-Mobile web site has all the settings you need.

Guys,

Thanks so much for all your help - everything working as it should now. All I need to do now is find the courage to 'de-orange' my phone by rooting it and loading your updated rom. I'm an absolute beginner and looking at the various guides it all looks quite daunting. I'll keep checking this wonderful resource.

Thanks again all.

To be honest reading about how to update is actually worse than doing it, it is quite daunting but once you'de done it you'll be wondering why you were nervous, just make sure you read everything properly and have everything you need before you start.
