Need help, random bootloop on my Pulse

Hi

Had my Pulse for a year or so now, when the 2.1 official release from T-Mobile arrived, the one from Holland(?), I followed instructions and downloaded and installed it. I followed all the steps, my phone ran much better except for a random reboot, which sometimes became a boot loop. I dealt with it for as long as I could but decided the upgrade had caused it so I needed to return to the 1.5 version. Followed the intructions from this sight and did fine, but the boot issue remains. It seems to mainly happen when the phone is doing something related to data transfer over 3G, but sometimes seems to just do it randomly. Can anyone help with this?

Please be aware that i am a total noob and do not know what "root" or "flash" really mean or how to do them, so some description/links of these would help. I have some basic computer knowledge but Android and updating phones is a new beast to me. I am happy to use any ROM so long as the random reboot issue is gone.

Thanks in advance!

The good thing is.

"The Ultimate Pulse Owners Guide"

Tells you what to do, so you don't need knowledge.

Read it, Try it, if it dont work, Then go back to 1.5

Whats the worst that can happen?, Doubt it would brick your phone, maybe get a boot loop?, O well, your having trouble with it now

Download T-mobile 2.1 UK

Then Place FLB 1.6 on top, your find your phone running so smooth

FLB is THE ROM. You can read about it and it's installation aswell in the GUIDE :)

Just make sure you wipe the phone correctly. Wipe everything before doing anything from that point. Everything.

If you've tried everything you possibly can. guess what

Try it again

Then try again.

Then if that dont work, Send it in for repair, with a stock rom installed.

It may sound stupid trying and trying again, but it's happend to me, and im sure to alot of people at the beginging, you miss things out you shouldnt of, but you dont notice till its to late, just document every step you do, and how you done it, then match it to the guide.

Make sure you do wipe everything, if it dont work, i think it might be a hardware fault. if so, Send it in.
