Guest gocegi Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 Just a simple question: What do you do, to keep Lag out of your pulse? Name your methods :) For example, I'm running FBL 1.7 and use a2sd and Advanced Task Manager, but no matter how many times I press the Advanced Task Manager, application keep coming back, and taking back my RAM. I HATE THAT !!! Isn't there a simpler way to handle apps and allow myself to make the decision which ones should run, and which ones shouldn't?

You using Advanced Task Killer OR, Advanced Task Manager? And Reboot your phone once a day as the saying is A Reboot a day keeps the lag away :)

Guest gocegi Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Advanced Task Killer :) anyway i wanted to know, is there an app that automatically kills background apps routhlessly, without giving them the chance to fire up again on their own? What is this Refine efficeny? Is anyone using it?
Guest WallOfSound Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 My understanding is that task managers do more harm than good. At least that's what seems to be the dominant view in articles on android memory management. My pulse never lags in general use as long as I reboot every day and wipe dalvik cache every week or so.
