Anyone know of a shop or private individual in or near Southampton who could root my San Fran and install the custom rom for a fee? ive looked at all the guides and unfortunately it is WAY above my head! and id much rather pay someone than brick my phone through my own incompetence!

I can help you. I live in Southampton and I rooted my phone and currently running release 3 of modaco custom ROM just fine. Let me know if you need help.
