Guest gayflag Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 There once was a time when i thought having a cool phone was cool. Then i lost the boner for having a smart phone and realized that spending the $500/year premium was a waste of money. Considering i use the internet feature maybe twice a month. Checking email on the go isnt really necessary. Internet is everywhere these days, i dont need to pay money to have it on every device i own. My contract is up in 20 days, so i called verizon and utilized the extended warranty i've been paying for the past 2 years. Figured i'd get my moneys worth, and the omnias screen is damn terrible. I flashed back to stock dc22 verizon rom, and i have to say, the phone is much better using 6.1 Much more stable, just finger unfriendly as fnck! Have fun with your fancy POS. I bet it cost you a small fortune, and will continue to cost you a small fortune until your contract is up, and get the droid 3 incredible 2.0 like all the other 'rockin the air' sheep! :) just IMO of course :)

I got a hammer n smashed that POS I910.. Very nice upgrade.... Good luck to you guys having to deal with that old POS.... Good for you. I have never owned a I910 or I920 as I am kind of new to a smartphones ( about a year old). I own an Omnia II (I8000). I guess people buy "toys" for a certain purpose. It may be for work, fun or business. As long as this purpose is being met it is okay for me and there is no need for me to jump ship just because the other ship seem to or have more people on board. I will never be a slave to technology because there is simply no end to innovations and inventions. My Omnia II (I8000) serves the purpose why I bought it pretty well and as long as it performs this function I will keep using it and flashing the new ROMs whenever any is available no matter what new OS is out there be it DROID, MOID,NOID, VOID, DIORD, IPHONE, IMONE, UMONE. Enough of all these "I have a new phone and my old phone is now horrible, terrible, the worst, useless, unusable e.t.c. Once upon a time there was a palm pilot, then palm V, palm m515 or so, pocket pc, ipaq this and that , wm5 bla bla bla. Now Android, WM7. There will be no end my brother. I may join you when my Omnia stops functioning from usage. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!
Guest awarner Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Saying you don't have to flash ROms? That's why the Android section has it's own kichens and ROMs available by the bucket load. :) Also don't forget you are trying to compare one of the latest devices with one that is technically outdated and a few years old, you may as well say the same comparing it to the 910 to the Omnia2 especially for screen.
