Guest Piti8576 Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Hello, how can i extract a acer firmware .bin to my pc. I user Linux Ubuntu 10.10 on my machine and i need some acer apps from the .bin.
Guest Delnar_Ersike Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 As far as I know, there is no way to flash an Acer bin in Linux, as the Acer Download Tool is only available for Windows and does not work in Wine. You can, however, flash a nandroid backup that was created by someone who flashed the bin under Windows. If you need any apps from an Acer bin, I'm sure if you're more specific about what apps you need from what bin, people will extract and post the apk of the app.
