Few Q's about the Orange San Fran?

Hi

I am thinking about getting an Orange San Fran for my Fiancee and I have a few questions regarding it. She is currently on Vodafone using a Samsung Jet (which has been playing up for a while) with an unlimited internet tariff.

1. If I get the phone, along with an sim-unlock code and input the Vodafone APN settings (listed here: Vodafone APN Page )the mobile internet connection should work straight away?

2. If I use a sim unlock code, does that void the warranty? Would they even check?

3. Is anyone working on a stock Froyo build (without the Orange crap!)

Not quite true on the second point, I recently tried to return an unlocked San Fran and stupidly forgot to swap the virgin SIM out for the original orange one (doh!). They refused the return point blank, telling me it had been modified and was now out of warranty.

I didn't make the same mistake at the second Orange shop though :)

Bottom line is, it invalidates the Orange warranty but as long as you arn't as stupid as me and remember to pop an Orange SIM in, you will be fine.
