I had to warranty my omnia

So i finally warrantied my omnia because i got sick of the touch screen slowly failing on me. I can't align the screen, and the screen is off 1\4" in the center. I've tried the registry hacks but i just want a phone that works. I've been paying for the extended 2yr warranty for 23 months and 10 days so i figure i may as well use it.

I am just curious if i will receive a refurbished omnia, or if i will get another phone. The verizon rep wasn't very helpful...

Yes, it'll be refurb. mine was, and i got it right away. they carry a few of them in store. it's like new. they take 'used' phones and restore them to new quality. no scratches, all new casing, and whatever wasnt working right is replaced with new stuff... so the good used parts stay and then a few are new. it was worth it, especially with 6 months left before upgrading at the time. now i can upgrade whenever but still enjoying the phones quick response.
