Guest chikkenstorm Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 I recently bought a Nokia N900, so I gave my old Omnia to my sister. I had a custom ROM installed, but since my sister wanted the phone to be Dutch, I decided to flash an original Dutch rom. With the official update from the Samsung website, it said the phone had the incorrect software version, so I tried flashing with GrandPrix. It recognised the phone and started updating. After the eboot, it rebooted the phone and waited for the reboot to be completed. The problem was that it never did. After like 10 minutes I restarted the phone manually and it still did nothing. The only thing that works is the red light on the power-button. The screen doesn't turn on or anything. Since it doesn't get to the Samsung-logo anymore, GrandPrix doesn't detect the phone, so I can't reflash. A surprise was that it did install the modem drivers (after it was bricked), so the phone can't be a 100% dead. I'm out of ideas now how to fix the phone, does anyone else have something I can try? Thanks in advance.

Guest chikkenstorm Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 I've tried, but it never gives me the confirmation screen. It just keeps staring at me with a black screen.
