internet wont work and cant recieve mms from a 7650

my girlfriend has just got this fone, i tried sending her a mms from my nokia 7650, she didnt recieve a thing although she can send me mms. she rang orange and they said they rnt compatable, is there a fix for this?

we r both on orange by the way, and can anyone post the Orange GPRS settings on here?

Orange are correct, the Nokia 7650, is not compatible with any other mms handset.

The t68i, and SPV and other handsets are fully interoperable, but not cross network yet, apparently the network providers are a bit up in arms about that.

The resolution lies with Nokia releasing a service update, unfortunately Nokia handsets are not over the air patchable. So it would mean taking it to your local service center, when or if the update becomes available.

The Nokia's do send mms between nokia handsets, but don't like other manufacturers.

Sorry i can't be anymore help, my advice, would be, as soon as you can upgrade to a better handset, SPV possibly.

ive successfully sent mms to a t68i and a sony erricson t300, work that out?

Erm I can send MMSs to Nokia brick and back fine.

Me too! Not had any problems yet. I am sending MMSs to a brand new 7650 though, so maybe it has updated software? Are you sending standard pictures, i.e. 160*120px, as i've heard some phones are fussy about that; all the pictures i've sent have been this size.

I'm amazed i've found someone I can send MMSs to while they're still free :) Pity there's only 3 weeks of the promo left!
