I cant edit build.prop

I am using the built in editor in Estrongs file explorer, but it doesn't let me save the file after editing.

I am trying to change the notification bar text color to white.

Estrongs didn't work for me either. I had to use root explorer to do it.

You have to mount the system partition as writable.

in EStrongs, Settings -> Root Options -> Enable both options and then try again.

Or try Root Explorer, it's a paid app but probably the best of it's type.
