Guest Afrodude Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 -no wifi what good is an android 2.2 without wifi...? Where did you get that from? Everywhere i looked said it has Wi-Fi.
Guest dav_dako Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 (edited) It has wi-fi and autofocus. Seems to be similar specs to the HTC Legend but with a worse camera. Edit: looking at it again, the screen is quite a bit worse Edited October 18, 2010 by dav_dako
Guest igor_anta Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Seems HTC will enter the fray: http://www.reghardware.com/2010/10/18/htc_gratia/ I would always pick HTC ahead of LG, the thing that's seemingly not certain yet is the price. Also if you want a bigger screen the Blade is the only option at the moment. I own a Pulse that has the same screen size as the Blade, but a lower res, and wouldn't go lower than 3.5 for a screen.

I wonder when HTC will reduce the price for the legend then, this phone is exactly the same specs without an led flash and aluminum unibody. Anyway, back on topic, i would choose San Fran over the LG for the superior display, other than that, theres little in it - price dependent of course Edited October 18, 2010 by dav_dako

It looks quite impressive but I can't see that being anywhere near the £99 of the blade, Its better than the Wildfire and thats £200. Yes once you've had a 3.5 screen it would be hard to go back to a 3.2
Guest ken218 Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Both seem very similar but the LG has froyo and auto focus, who wins the budget android battle? LG OPTIMUS ONE To me, the screen size and resolution of the LG is useable. (I was using Pulse happily). The superior screen on the Blade is more like a bonus to me. As long as they don't use something like 320x240, I'm happy. I am more concern about the amount of memory (RAM and ROM) available in the LG, and what CPU it uses. In the pulse days, having only 128MB of memory is really bad!!! apps got off-loaded from the memory all the time, available memory was always under 30MB, etc. Then, say if the LG is similiar spec to the Blade (besides the screen), and it only costs £50, then I'd say it will be a better buy. But if it will cost like £200, then it is Blade all the way. So, decision can only be made when the RAM/ROM/CPU/Price information are available.
