Guest Ignition Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 hey everyone, I have been running with a ROM for quite a few months now.. and for some reason my phone has slowed down... so I would like to factory reset it so that its as if reloads everything again from scratch.. removes all the programs, fresh install.. how do you do this ??? is there a hard reset button ?? or do i have to reflash the rom again ?? also i dont want MyStorage deleted... thanks!
Guest awarner Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Borrowed from the TechStuffs MySpace page 1. Press Lock and W&L Button (do not release) 2. Reset the Device with Stylus 3. At the first Samsung Boot Logo press Call and End Call Buttons for 0.5 sec. 4. The "do you want to format" Question appears immediately Don't forget this will only reset back to the condition to when you flashed the ROM. Clearing My Storage should have an option in theSettings menu.
