The key point, technology of WM is more mature. :P

I've never used Android, but I would not choose winmo if I were you.

Unless you like ugly, buggy, slow, laggy operating systems. It might be more mature, but it's miles behind any of the competitors out there.

My windows phone froze three times on me this weekend. Just a completely frozen, non-responsive, frozen screen. Had to pull the battery out to reset it. Three times.

Using windows mobile is like doing penance for a crime you didn't commit.

"For your unabashed crime of wanting a smartphone, you will be sentenced to the phone freezing whenever you only have a second to use it, the UI being slow and choppy for no reason whatsoever all the time, and zero support from Microsoft"

Choose anything over windows mobile. iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Symbian. It's all better.

It seems that the 2011 would be Android year. So many giants already declare their Android plans, including Moto, BenQ, Toshiba,...

We will see on CES.

This is such an old post as such post and does not take into account the new WP7, while the old Windows Mobile could be classed with some of the above issues WP7 has been proven to be equally faster and smoother than Android, especially now as the whole Android OS is starting to get bogged down.

Certain features are limiting in WP7 but it depends what you are after in a device.

If you want a device that just works without tweaking this and that WP7 is the way to go.

If on the other hand you want to constantly flash this or that ROM in an attempt to tweak the device to work just as you want then Android is the way to go.

Personally for me I use WP7 (HTC HD7) as I do not trust the lack or security and proven spyware central that Google have allowed in their OS.

my phone works and works well plus with Xbox live it's perfect for me
