Hi guys,

my question is the following: I have a rooted Desire and have flashed a number of roms, but none of them satisfies my needs. Most of all, I use Launcher Pro Plus and NEVER use the sense UI. However, some of the features included in the HTC rom are desirable and way better that the AOSP rom (for instance the telephone part with all its additions, contacts, call log etc.) and that's is why I don't find all the AOSP roms out there completely satisfactory.

So I'm considering getting the plus membership here and cook my own rom, that would include many things from HTC (for instance the lock screen and, as mentioned above, the telephone part) but not rosie!

Would that be feasible and, if so, how would it compare in terms of speed and stability with the one I'm using no (Aurax 7.8.1), which is certainly the best I've used so far especially in the battery use area?
