how can i uninstall few apps like weather, and secondly it looks too orange is there anyway to get rid off.

Two options...

Root your device, remount the drive and then start deleting the apps you dont like from /system/app/

Or

Use This guy's De-orangeated ROM all the hard work is done for you :P

Does just deleting the apk do a complete uninstall? (Apart from data on the SD that may have been saved)
