Guest ken218 Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Hi, I've searched the market place and google and for some reason any links I found wouldn't download! So where can I download app2sd? Second, how do I install it? How do I format and partition my sd-card? sorry to say that, but search the forum should bring you a lot of information regards to A2SD... A2SD is a feature provided in froyo. For phones with OS prior to that, it can be achieved by partitioning the SD card to include a ext partition, and make it part of the OS partition, force apps to be stored in SD card. It is not just an app you download from the market. It needs to be "installed" from recovery menu. From what I am aware of, DarkTremor's a2sd script doesn't always to work on MCR R3 (that is the only one I tried). And other users also complain about the ext partition not mounting, or it couldn't mount after 1 successful mount (then the phone stuck in the boot loop) MCR R4's A2SD feature seems to work perfectly. For partitioning the SD card, search the forum please...
Guest Lyner Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 I used Gparted to partition my sd card. Heres the guide I used to get A2SD working. http://www.villainrom.co.uk/forum/showthre...r-the-ZTE-Blade Hope this help. :P
