Duplicate contacts (SIM and Google Contacts)

After installing FLB1.7, everytime I get an SMS, the contact name is being read from the SIM not from Google Contacts (so no little face picture)

In CONTACTS I've unchecked 'from SIM' so they now don't show in the contacts list.. but still when I get an SMS they're showing up.

I was previously using HU 2.1 and this didn't occur.

Is there any fix other than deleting all contacts from the SIM? (seems a bit drastic)

Is there even a good way of wiping the sim contacts? I haven't found one in android.

Only way I was able to solve this was to delete the contacts of the Sim Card.

Not in Android, well not what I know off anyway, I had to use a different mobile phone to do it with.

Hi,

Try it: contacts , menu, display options, phone and google contack check out, sim check in, back, select all contact (i hope display only sim contacts) then delete, then check in show google contacts.
