hi,

i have a Renault grand scenic with the usb connector for mp3 players.

does anyone know if this port will keep my phone charged/charging while travelling.

if it does where would i get a short lead from?

All I can say is try it. Some ports provide power, others don't. Just grab the lead that came with the phone and try it out.

Hmmmmmm, Hmmmm, I went to Florida last year, I got some Toyota convertible as a hire car... It had one of those ports, and I plugged my iPhone into recharge... after about 30 minutes there was a very nasty burning smell and a non working iphone...

Fortunately the Apple store believed me 'it just stopped working' story and swapped it for another one.
