Don't like the new screen density

Hey Newbie,

Can you specify how to change the new screen density. I saw your note:

If you don't like the new screen density you can change it whenever you like by going into the /system folder and editing the build.prop file. Just change the line ro.sf.lcd_density=140 to ro.sf.lcd_density=160 to go back to default (changes will take effect after a reboot).

But will I have too make the changes in the zip Update-v3 folder and reinstall the update.

Can you post a guide, pls,thx.

If you download root explorer from the android market you can edit the build.prop (providing you have root access) in the system/ folder on your Streak. Reboot once you've saved your changes and it's sorted.

Hi Maskaler.... I've installed Root Explorer and it works fine until I click on the "/system" folder, then in force closes. This happens with read only and r/w. This didn't happen before and its happening on latest v1 final beta. Worth mentioning, this happened after I just finished installing froyo, meaning the Streak had almost nothing else installed (only the program to root it).

Whenver I try to go any other folder, I have no problems. I had to edit the build.prop with Terminal, but would love to fix Root Explorer. Any clues?
