noisy background sound during audio and video playback

Hi

When I listen to music or watch a video, there is a constant noisy sound in the background. I have tried the standard android video player and the ES video player. When I play the same files with my laptop the noisy sound is gone and everything sounds okay.

How do I solve this problem and remove the noisy sound?

FLB 1.7 runs on my phone.

Just installed the UK 2.1 update, the problem still remains: noise in the background.

When the playback of a movie or MP3 file is stopped, the noise sound continues for some seconds and then stopps after a cracking sound.

This is because the speaker is crap. Even if you mute the sound but the speaker still gets power it has that sound.

You can't solve this other than replacing the speaker with a higher quality one. (if you try this please make pictures and post them :P)

I read some reviews before i bought the pulse and now this pleasent surprise. Why wasn't something like this mentioned there? :D

Budget phone, budget components. IMO the poor sound quality is not the biggest problem with this phone.

Everyone finds different noises annoying (I once had to return a set of cordless home phones because the power supply plugs were emitting an infuriating high pitched whistle that not everybody could hear).

On the Pulse - if it's the same high pitched noise I hear, then it may not be audible to everyone depending on age and range of hearing. Either the reviewers you read couldn't hear it or they didn't think it was worth mentioning compared with the other issues.

Of course it's possible that you have a faulty phone.

It's not a high pitch, it sounds more like shssshhsshshshsh :P

That high pitch is another problem like with those old tv's. I'm annoyed by that too but you can't really do anything about it.
