i personally prefer htc_ime. its got just the right amount of intuition that i need in a smart keyboard. Plus, there are high as well as medium resolution versions available, so im sure u can find one for your pulse.

not sure if all android keyboards have this feature, but smart keyboard adjusts the size of individual keys depending on the last key pressed.

because of this, i find i can type away in portrait mode on my san fran without making many mistakes.

I actually like TouchPal to the point I use it on my GT540. I've tried the HTC IME and it looks very nice and is simple to use but I just like how easy it is to input a capital letter or number/character with TouchPal by just swiping up or down on the key.

takes a bit to get used to it, but results are quite good...especially if you're texting in ENGLISH :P

Where can i get swype from?

You can find the .apk floating around all over the internet on various android sites n forums though i found it tricky to find one that was the correct resolution though i found it eventualy

I do remember though that I had SlideIT but can't remember if it did have the estonian pack! default was English, French and Spanish...

Swiping keyboards are very cool, also we have BlindType to look forward to (recently acquired by Google so will prob be built into droid).

I like Touchpal but for speed I use SlideIT, very cool keyboard.

and the second ... do i need a "foreign" dictonary if I wanna use Swype in germany? or is it just availible for english words?

1- Swype not included in MCR, I got the apk from a friend...happy to forward it if you want it; and

2- not sure, have a google and see if it accepts language packages...
