Does anyone have the installer for the LG IME? thanks

Is there one? I thought LG phones used the stock Android IME? There are also better alternatives such as TouchPal (from the market) or the HTC IME which is available from here (apparently) or XDA forums.

Yes my stock UAE ROM have this LG IME which includes a handwriting recognition, but since i flashed it to UK Open ROM it's gone..so anybody have an installer

The file I uploaded is for 2.1. I don't have LG IME for 1.6

Mine came with LG IME when I upgraded my ROM to 2.1 Baltic and it also has handwriting support.

Fast App Installer should help you with the installation.

thanks am still waiting for the europe open rom for 2.1 thats why am still using the 1.6..thanks anyway

No prob, when it becomes available i'll try to upgrade to that one as well, in the event you do upgrade and still dont have the apk let me know and I'll re-send it.
