ROMs Where to start..

hello all.

I was wondering if any of you could help me out, i wanted to start reading into how to create ROM's, learnig to develop android and the such..

Can any of you point me to anywhere that mite be useful, iv started reading code.google.com (i think thats the address) but id love to get more specific stuff.
