Guest sulligogs Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 Hi I just got my first smartphone, an Orange San Francisco, that I've unlocked and will in the future be looking at flashing it over. A guy at work said that you could download the original ZTE Blade ROM for this phone to replace the existing one. However, looking at the ZTE website they don't even appear to mention this phone anymore. Could someone educate me if there is such a ROM or would it be a case of getting a custom ROM from here to get rid of the Orange stuff? I'm on 3 anyway so don't need any of it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Sulligogs
Guest nick_sub Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 Hi. There is no such thing I'm afriad. However you have got the choice of the Modaco Custom ROM (MCR) or Sebastian404's ROM, both of which you will find in the forum. They are both nice clean ROMs. I have only tried Sebastian404's but it's excellent and I would recommend it.
Guest sulligogs Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 Hi and thanks I thought that would be the case. But looking forward to using one of the ROMS from here, maybe in the next couple of weeks, by which point the Orange stuff would have had me vomitting over my phone. Thanks again!
Guest xeyaztian Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 I posted how tog et rid of the Android apps without a ROM on here and my site http://dailyandroidapps.blogspot.com/2010/...-installed.html
