Guest peetah Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 Hi, I think I've got A2SD+ working on my Desire but for some reason a similar amount of space is being taken up on the internal memory as the A2SD partition. I went on an app installing spree and took notes of the amount of remaining space. This was done using Quick System Info. Start - After wiping and reflashing rom and installing only Quick System Info 362 Apps2sd 137 Internal 362 System Angry Birds 354 134 354 Fruit Ninja 344 124 344 Kamikaze Race 333 114 333 Flick Defence 330 111 330 Rock Player 328 105 328 RoboDefense 326 103 326 HomeRun Battle 317 82 317 Super ko boxing 316 79 316 Monopoly 298 61 298 Fast Furious 294 54 294 Uniwar 291 50 291 Root Explorer 291 50 291 Spin It 289 48.99 289 Panzer panic 286 46.39 286 abduction 285 45.03 285 So after all these apps installed only 77mb of the A2SD partition ended up being used. Whereas 92mb of the internal is being used. Do these figures sound right? I'm aware that when installing applications using A2SD a portion of the data is installed to the internal partition but by the looks of this more data has landed on the internal than the A2SD partition. Perhaps the dalvik-cache having been moved to the A2SD will result in the space taken up on the A2SD partition growing as I have not run most of these applications but only installed them to investigate where the data is going. Apologies if this is more desire specific but not many people seem to have any problems with A2SD and so this feels more like a beginner's question.
