Phone Lock Code

Is there a setting for a Phone lock code on start up ? Can't see anything but all my previous phones have had the setting for one.

The closest is a sim lock, which forces you to unlock the sim when you switch on the phone. but since this is a smart phone, it doesn't prevent you from accessing other features.

I know there is a lock you can set when you unlock the screen. But I am not sure if that works when you start the phone

nothing in there, i've got the sim lock on but if i lost the phone then the sim can just be removed and the phone will be free to use :P

just after abit of extra security really, piece of mind more then anything.
