Guest gnegne Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 The micro USB port of my pulse got broken after 2 weeks. I disassembled it and I was really astonished about the poor quality how the usb connector was fixed to the body. I was just soldered on the board (see pictures attached) If T-mobile does not fix it for free I have to say goodbye and look for some higher quality product (and it won't become a Huawei product anymore, for sure) So, handle your pulse with care, otherwise life expectancy seems to be really short. gnegne
Guest TaiwanCHT8k Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 so that gluey thingy is the only thing they use beside solder?
Guest patrick1072 Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 Just so you know, my usb port came loose about last month after owning the phone from about november/december time so took it into the tmobile shop for repair, the guy took a bit of persuading but agreed to send it of. Recieved it back 2 weeks later with the motherboard replaced all free of charge :P
