Does the SanFran suffer from the Missing Texts issue?

I'm getting rid of my Pulse as it is continuously failing to receive some texts, which I find unacceptable considering SMS is a basic feature of a mobile phone, and was originally thinking about replacing it with a SanFran. But am I right to believe that the SanFran is still susceptible to this issue (iirc the issue being com.android.mms closes when there isn't enough ram) and Google has only produced a fix for 2.2?

I never had a problem with 2.2 running on my pulse, it was only with the 2.1 update. I've never not received a text (as far as i'm aware) on my SF. Regarding MMS I wouldn't be able to comment as I've never had one sent to me as of yet.

Is that the unofficial 2.2 update that Stephen Hyde posted up? Was it missing texts/SMS's when you were originally on 2.1 then?

Not really worried about MMS's but a bit hacked off with my Pulse (on 2.1) at the moment with it not receiving all SMS/Texts, it's currently missing 1 in every 5 which is pretty shoddy. Still interested to here if anyone else has suffered this issue with the SanFran?

Note that the SF has plenty RAM (double the Pulse's?), so that issue should be less likely to show up ...

Nope, I was referring to the 2.2 running on my pulse at the moment, that has always been fine for me. I discovered that the issue with 2.1 for the pulse was that if someone was to sent you a text while you are loading up a webpage, refreshing facebook etc. then you will not get it. That is no longer an issue with 2.2 for the Pulse. I've still got 2.1 on my san fran and have never had these issues. Not 100% sure about 2.2 on the san fran but I am yet to see anyone mention these issues.
