- device freezes in ez_input settings

- ez input settings default to italian. Less change to change it with my italian knowledge ;-)

- Screenshot: Sometimes ugly char on bottom

I installed your Rom for now and have to say its really nice. Although Samsungs Widgets installed it seems quit fast.

It really makes a difference when you have a Rom in your native language.

Nevertheless I have a problem, I have the "sleeping beauty" issue. meens: my device freezes when it goes into sleep mode when I press the lock button. And I have no idea why. I did nothing different from what I did with other Roms. And I tested a lot in the meanwhile.

I only have a few games, different Taskbar, touch response, sms skin and changed start menu grids.

In your changelog you write that you have added Samsung sdk 2.2 which (from what I know) causes the Sleeping beauty bug, but when I tested your WWE 2.5 Version I did not recognize the sdk. When I tried orientaion detection which needs the sdk It gave me an error.

That was the main reason at first to flash your ROM cause I was wondering how you managed to solve this problem.

But I guess I mussunderstood something.

I flash it again to see if it is still there after first boot. Cause I can't remember....:P

I added the SDK but I had never tested, is probably not working properly, remove it from the next version

OK I flashed again and now everything seems to be fine. I will install everything one by one to see what might have caused the problem. Or something went wrong during flashing process. I'm not sure.

OK, I found some other things.

This weird looking icon in the bottom bar(device lock icon) is normal again when you change the start menu grid to 4. But also the nice circles under the start menu icons are gone. But not a big deal :P

In Mode Manager when you want to change Widgets Plus to something else it wont be recognized. You can see when it switches that e.g. Date and Calender is shown but then Widgets Plus loads over it. I had to disable Widgets Plus via registry and there you could see that the other things were also enabled besides Widgets Plus.

to me the manager mode works even if the word is applied today widgetplus selected

the device lock icon should be so after the flash up to the administrator, but if the theme settings \ today goes okay

si, ti posso dire le mie impressioni:

innanzitutto lascia stare la fotocamera ed i colori così come sono ! la prima rom cucinata che abbia mai provato che ha i colori giusti ! :P

devo poi segnalarti che l'interfaccia samsung today ho dovuto installarla a mano (versione JC2) perhè quella già presente non si visualizzava

un'altra piccola questione riguarda la ez imput: è possibile avere la vibrazione quando tocco un tasto ? ed è possibile che rimanga sempre su xt9 anche sulla tastiera hardware ? (è molto comoda con la correzione anche con la qwerty fisica)

il "menù II" non è compatibile in landscape, c'è qualche valida alternativa (problema veramente di poco conto :D ) ?

è possibile avere l'applicazione messaggi della jc2 ? dove le cartelle erano in alto stile schede e c'erano le conversazioni con i contatti ?

puoi aggiungere in rom il NET FrameWork v3.7, lo allego a fondo di questo post

un appunto anche sulla rom in se stessa: nonostante sia abbastanza svuotata è molto simile (di prestazioni) alla normale II6. è possibile fare di più ?

spero di essere riuscito a fare un'analisi approfondita, sarò molto felice di seguire gli eventuali sviluppi di questa rom !

intanto ti posso dire che non ho mai lasciato una rom cucinata sul mio telefono (vuoi per l'inglese, vuoi per la fotocamera ecc) ma questa è la prima volta che lo faccio perchè anche se non perfetta è davvero un buon lavoro ma soprattutto è sulla buona, anzi ottima, strada :D bravissimo !

al samsung today non ci avevo fatto caso, non dovrei aver problemi a mettere a posto

per la vibrazione della tastiera devi modificare due chiavi di registro:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\KeyState]

"KeyVibratorState"=dword:00000000

"UseService"=dword:00000001

(se apri il registro via editor doversti trovare scritta soltanto l'ultima cifra)

per xt9 con la tastiera fisica l'unica soluzione che ho trovato è una volta aperta la tastiera apri anche quella su schermo e abiliti il t9, purtroppo bisogna fare questa operazione ogni volta

per l'applicazione dei messaggi devo provare

il framework avevo già provato con un altra rom ma non veniva visto dal sistema comunque riproverò

hmmm se intallo la tasiera samsung (jc2) e poi faccio come consigliato ok, vibra ma nella ez imput niente più xt9 ! non predice più nonostante sia attivato. se non installo quella samsung, niene vibrazine in ex !

per la tastiera del telefono è un problema che si ha con tutte le wm 6.5.x, l'avevo modificata per fare in modo che questo non avvenisse ma sono sorti i vari problemi che mi avevi segnalato, per risolvere si possono rimuovere gli scrollbar da tutto il sistema via registro

per ie vedo come posso risolvere

il problema della tastiera non l'ho capito molto bene

punto 1 : direi che è solo un problema visivo perchè comunque il sovradimensionamento non è tale da non rendere visibili tasti

per la fotocamera non saprei cosa fare, ho già utilizzato i driver migliori che ci sono per l'omnia pro

quale problema del post 102? se è quello della visualizzazione del tasto in basso devi riapplicare il tema da impostazioni today
