Pure Android 2.1 or 2.2 possible?

I was wondering if it is possible to install a clean android 2.1 or 2.2 ROM on the san fran with no additional software etc.

I wouldnt mind the stock app launcher, contacts, dialer, themes, wallpaper, apps.

Try r4 - it's pretty vanilla (and actually adds functionality vs the Orange stock ROM - e.g. Exchange sync).

Otherwise, there are people greater than me working on porting AOSP Froyo to the Blade. Check the topic in this forum for more info.

You can delete all the apps you don't require by getting root explorer and deleting those apk files from the system folder
