Guest Mavamaarten Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 Hello everyone. All over the internet I see people with a black statusbar. Now I'm wondering... Is this possible on the GT540 (running Greek 2.1 ROM) ? I think the white looks so ugly, since I'm using a black theme (ADWlauncher with Theme One). I can hide it, wich looks better, but when you see your notifications, it's an empty space where the bar should be. Thanks in advance.

Guest flyboyovyick Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 It in the Quarx rom. I have the black status bar and i think the rom is much faster than official rom.

Guest Mavamaarten Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 I found out about that rom, but I want my phone to be Dutch, not english or russian, or any other language. Isn't there another way ? :P

Most of the people on this forum are using the Baltic ROM I believe, however only a few of them actually know any Baltic languages I'll wager.

The Baltic ROM doesn't have Dutch on it, so I can't change the language to dutch. Is there a way to get it without flashing ? ADB maybe ?

I'm not sure where I got that idea, perhaps someone could confirm or deny this.
Guest Mavamaarten Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 Maybe, maybe not. I'm not going to take the risk. I found a guide on youtube on how to do it, but I only came across 1 problem. I couldn't edit the font color on the statusbar, wich made me NOT upload the files back to my phone. (this would have caused unreadable s***.)
