Guest mrmrmrmr Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 I was hoping to have 3g (native gsm) video call feature with Froyo. It's not there obviously... Then I realized that this feature will be available on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) natively. However, Samsung Galaxy S dialer application supports it even with 2.1 (Eclair) So it must be possible to support 3g video calls with the help of a correct dialer application. Now my questions: - could we use dialer application from Samsung Galaxy S on the Dell Streak ? (how?) - would it be possible to use this feature with a 3rd party dialer ? Is there any dialer which supports video calls ? - if we get gingerbread on Streak, shall we have a dialer with 3g video call support ? I'd appreciate any comments...

Can somebody kindly recommend a good dialer for the streak? the default one is ugly.
Guest mrmrmrmr Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 I was expecting that Dell's own Froyo build would include a dialer with 3G video enabled. However, it seems that Dell doesn't care about that. let's see , Shall we get it in Gingerbread ?
Guest mrmrmrmr Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 I use Dialer One Dialer One is a good dialer but it does not have 3g video support as well. Am I wrong?
Guest LorD CLockaN Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Don't know, video calling is not supported in my country. zigzagindex asked to recommend another dialer apart from default one, so I did
