pressing the menu button to unlock the device

is this possible?

only asking because i on my Pulse i used to be able to unsleep the device if i pressed the menu button once, and unlock if i pressed it twice.

this would be great as it would mean the poorly implemented power button would be used half as much.

Rather than suggest looking around and then reporting the topic, helping with a link can do wonders :P

No matter how much people complain the search function on any forum is always the least used part and that includes regular and more experienced users.

Problem is we have many topics on this subject (ironicly due to duplicates!) which is why I suggested having a look. I thought that would be the best option rather than post a link to 1 thread which wouldn't have answered the question because the info is scattered in the various threads.

We also have 2 threads on SF cases going which are exactly the same topic but slightly differing info...needs to be merged!

In the early days I used to check every section but now it's impossible for myself or the other members of the team to do it.

If you have the time send me a pm with the links involded to be merged and I will see what I can do.

Merging posts can be messy so it would be easier to close the smallest of the topics and redirect to the most popular one.

I could have sworn Paul made someone a mod just for this device specific forum but now I can't find it so perhaps I imagined it. It may have been the desire HD area which I was also looking at before I decided to save a lot of money :P
