Guest GADGTGUY Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 Hi, For some reason ever since I went with a custom ROM I have had nothing but issues. Instability etc. I tried a variety of ROMs and they are all kind of giving me the same issue. I have wiped, formatted, and tried everything for a stable phone. Not blaming any of the ROMs, it could just be me and my device. I have a HTC Desire from Telus in Canada with the SLCD I just want to flash it back to normal using the standard ROM and get rid of all the rooting etc. How do I do this? I can't seem to find the RUU file for this phone anywhere. Can anyone help me out? I just want to put it back to normal so that I can determine if the problem is the phone or the ROMs. Thanks, D.

Guest GADGTGUY Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 Try here. Or here. Or even here. Thanks, Tried those. None seem to work because my phone is still tagged as being from Telus I think. Or could have to do with my screen type. Search continues D.
Guest volatile_ink Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 If you've got a rooted phone, you can load any custom rom or ruu you like. Are you having trouble loading the rom or are there specific problems that your having working with Telus?

I want the latest, stable 2.2 I can find. D.

Guest GADGTGUY Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 How about this one? :P I am running that now. I am getting a lot of errors with it and I think it is the phone itself. D.
