Guest dobster Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 just moved from an Omnia to Desire and already having problems...i did search around here, but found nothing :D so, it's a stock Desire with Froyo that i just can't connect to a HP laptop. I sure can pair them, but when looking up the computers devices i see it's not connected; when looking up the settings on my phone, it says "paired but not connected". Don't know if it's just me being blonde or if there's something else :P (also tried searching the net or some other forums, the best they came up was the same msg on the phones side while connecting to other things, like BT headsets) Could anyone please help? :D
Guest volatile_ink Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 Generally it would only 'connect' when data is being sent/received. Have you tried sending/receiving files?
Guest spammyspam Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 Not sure if it applies here, but in my opinion BT in sense roms is hosed. I've only had problems with audio headsets myself though.
Guest dobster Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 Have you tried sending/receiving files? Yes. I can send files from the computer, but not from the phone. I also don't have any info when clicking properties of the Desire on the "devices & printers" tab which i was able to see when connecting other phones via BT (see attachment)
