Guest gstar101 Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) Has anyone found a way (possibly I missed it) to use word completion in the Market for example? Theres a few other apps I've noticed having to type everything letter by letter but their names defeat me ATM. For those who don't understand the question, if I go to the market and try to search for "Cat" I have to press: #2 3times #2 1time and #8 1time. I've only noticed it with 2.1 (using baltic) does this happen in any of the other 2.1 ROMS? Edited October 27, 2010 by gstar101

Ok, when you get your keypad up, you should see a little circular logo.....this brings up the LG IME screen.... From here, you choose keypad types, and go for qwerty..... This WON'T give you word completion, but will stop the annoying numberpad typing! Hope this helps

Guest RottenFoxBreath Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Better than nothing, thanks... Install a keyboard like slideIT, that comes with a dictionary, and will allow you to type a few letters, and pick the word from a selection, or slide your finger over letters, and pick a word from a selection(if the slide patterns are similar).
