Rooting Softbanks X06HT II 2.2 update.

It was released on the 10th of October or so for OTA. I was wondering if anyone with kitchen skills would be willing to mod it to give root access and remove any of the bad stuff (firmware/bootloader upgrades). And maybe add tethering if it's something you can easily do.

I was trying myself, but I can't get the ROM to install after. :/ It has a the firmwares and also a "patch" folder. So maybe that's messing things up? I can't figure out how to successfully remove the firmware zip without causing the rom not to work. >.>

Lenik said he was going to try and get to modding it, but I assume he's busy, and he also has the OLED version of the desire. :s

If someone knows how to do it quick, I'd be so appreciative! :P
