Guest wlad19 Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 Hi All, I'm wondering whether anyone here has come across a release and/or mod kernel build that has a fix to the SD Card corruption issue that seems to be a bane of many android phone users, besides myself ? The problem appears to be around for quite some time, and there is also a link to a linux patch that may be applicable: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=2500 Right now, after having tried different SD Cards with my T-mobile Pulse (running t-mobile stock 1.5 with 2.6.27-perf kernel), with no difference I am concluding that any reliance on sd card for persistence storage is a high risk strategy for Android (and ruling out A2SD for me). Thanks, W.
