Guest SCORPIO111 Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 any chance to using this brilliant phone like a internet modem to laptom ?
Guest Richard_Arkless Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 (edited) I use barnacle wifi tether on my pulse, this uses your data plan and turns your phone into a wireless router and then you can have all your devices connected to it Only downside would be is it gets quite hot fairly quickly but you would have the same outcome with any tethering app Edited October 28, 2010 by Richard_Arkless
Guest steve1221 Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 (edited) I'm sure I've seen a Bluetooth app to do this, I'll see if I can find it again! Mind you, you have to watch your usage doing that, you'll blow through data much, much faster than on the phone and may very well fall foul of the network 'fair use' policy... (this one turns the phone into a wifi hot spot http://www.appbrain.com/app/tethering/com.guardam.Tethering) Edited October 28, 2010 by steve1221

Guest Lew247 Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 I REALLY wish people would use the search button Look - http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...-a-mifi-router/ and only a few posts below yours, and on the 1st page still, if you had looked or searched you'd have found it in seconds Now we have yet another thread with the same information on it again!
